Training for the Unknown

Our workouts include any and all functional movements to improve proficiency and increase strength and work capacity.

CrossFit
Speed, Strength, Power

Designed to increase proficiency in the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. As you progress you will receive individualized work to attack your specific needs for improving your lifts.

Weightlifting

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

  • Matt Hathcock

“This is my passion. I want to inspire change in the way people think about fitness, and get people doing the things they thought impossible.”

Matt has been following the CrossFit method since September 2008. His interest in Strength & Conditioning and Nutrition began in high school, and he has been coaching people through various programs since that time. Matt has found the training involved in the sport of CrossFit to be where his passion truly lies, and he continues to pour his entire life into being a great Coach, Affiliate Owner and Athlete. Matt has recently worked with several high school programs as well as Boulder SWAT and the 19th Special Forces Group. Matt also competed in the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games as an individual.

This included a 2nd place in the world finish at the 2011 CrossFit Games. Shannan is a Firefighter Paramedic of 10 years with NWFD and serves on her Department’s Fitness Committee. Kevin began following the CrossFit regimen in 2008 in Columbia, Missouri. He has now lost the weight and gained his confidence. CrossFit is his engine for a continued healthy, active and energetic lifestyle. Wanting to share his experience and results, Jon went out and earned his Crossfit Level 1 Certification in 2011 and is dedicated to helping others achieve their fitness goals.

“There’s no better feeling than seeing someone reach a goal and knowing you helped to get them there.”

I started CrossFit in 2009 in a New York Barn. The “Fight Club” atmosphere, immediate friendships made, and leaving my ego laying on the ground convinced me this was my new obsession. I came back the very next day and every day since & haven’t looked back. I played some sports in high school but never took anything seriously until CF. I loved CF so much, I wanted to share it with anyone who would listen and after a year, I was convinced to get my L1 to take my love for the sport to the next level. Nothing since has brought me so much happiness. Even if I’m not the best at CrossFit, it feels amazing to help others reach their best. What makes me happiest is seeing the look in someone’s eyes when they do something they never thought they’d be able to do.

  • Lacy Harmony

“”I love CrossFit because it makes me more capable in every aspect of my life”

Lacy is a Firefighter with the Denver Fire Department who began CrossFitting in 2007 after being invited to a CrossFit gym by coworkers. She found that the intensity of CrossFit workouts corresponded with the varying modalities of firefighting. For Lacy, CrossFit continuously develops key aspects of fitness such as strength and endurance. CrossFit training has helped Lacy to compete and excel at several triathlons and distance running. She also has seen improvement in her overall coordination, technique, efficiency and self discipline. Helping others better themselves through fitness is fulfilling and rewarding for her. Lacy is also an avid skier in her spare time and those close to her know that she rarely backs down from a challenge. CrossFit has helped Lacy to become more driven and welcoming to any challenge that comes her way.

  • Brett Burke

“Fitness has become an addiction for me. I love seeing just how far I can push myself and continually strive to improve.”

Brett has been CrossFitting since 2010. In high school he was an All American in track & field and cross country and went on to compete in college on a full athletic scholarship. After college, Brett joined the United States Air Force and served for over ten years as a Firefighter and maintained a high level of physical fitness. He is now a full time Firefighter/Paramedic with West Metro Fire Rescue and continues to hold the department’s physical abilities test record. Through his dedication to the sport of fitness, Brett has helped bring CrossFit to the West Metro Fire Department and other area fire departments. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his two children and occasionally escaping to the slopes of Colorado for some ski time.
